About Mahjong Quiz

Mahjong Quiz is a free practice site for calculating scores in four-player Riichi Mahjong. It is designed to help players practice Han, Fu, Ron, Tsumo, Dora, and common M-League rule variations.

How the quizzes work

Questions are based on winning hands from past Japanese M-League matches. Each question presents the available hand information and asks for the final score. Explanations and score tables are provided to support learning.

Rules and sources

The site explains the rule assumptions used for its quizzes, including open Tanyao, red fives, and Kiriage Mangan. M-League match hands are used for educational practice; this site is not affiliated with or endorsed by M-League.
